RCD – Residual Current Device / Safety Switch /outlet fitted

An electrical safety switch or RCD that protects the user from possible electrocution by providing a fast power cut-off in a problem situation.

This portable RCD is designed to be plugged into a power outlet including low-lying power points, for example power points in skirting boards. Suitable for use with stationary electrical equipment, pie warmers, ice machines, ice cream machines, hair dryers, etc.

This is a 250V- 50Hz RCD-Safety switch with a 30ms rating (Type 2).
