Test and Tag

Test and tagging of electrical equipment in the work place is required by work cover for your safety and the safety of your employees. The guidelines vary in regards to the industry but as a general guideline:

Industry	Frequency
Construction	Monthly
Hospitals, Public Location	3-to-6 months
Contract Cleaners	6-to-12 months

Risk assessment will influence the time requirement. Often forgotten but in the office, computers, printers, fax machine, pie warmers, fridges, vacuums, polishers, etc. need to be tested and tagged at different intervals.
